Angel Tears' four CDs transport you on an enchanted journey of sounds and voices from every corner of the globe. Their music is a prayer to harmony that integrates cultures, races and peoples, a prayer that plucks on the heartstrings of listeners across the universe. Angel Tears integrates dozens of instruments from East and West: the Bedouin dharbouka, Tibetan flutes, grand pianos, the Indian sitar, electric guitar, and Arab violins. The songs also feature such varied elements as African voices in traditional tribal religious ceremonies and ancient Indian hymns.
Angel Tears is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The members are:
MOMI OCHION, the leader of the ensemble, is a long-time creator and producer on the ethnic and electronic music scene around the world. Momi is the principal artist of Angel Tears and the brains behind the melodies, the sounds and editing of the album. Momi's message is freedom, nature, love and music.
SEBASTIAN JAMES TAYLOR, a young and promising artist from London who has created electronic music albums (Drums n' Bass and Trance Melody) under the names SHAKTA and DIGITALIS. Sebastian is a disciple of Tai Chi and says he is enchanted by the Middle East, particularly Israel.
LIOR MILLER, an actor and artist in his own right. Momi and Lior have been making music together for many years. Lior is also one of the most sought after and beloved disk jockeys in Israel. His musical direction is heard in the album's Western ambience.
Angel Tears have released four CDs, all recorded in their M.P. studios at Neve-Tzedek. Their CDs are produced by Srulik Einhorn and Momi Ochion.
